Dante D. Perez has taught communication courses at Angeles University Foundation, Holy Angel University, and National University Philippines. He obtained his Doctor of Communication degree from the University of the Philippines Open University.  He is also a freelance social media strategist, communication consultant, and cultural entertainment producer. His research interest includes digital ageism, older adults and social media, and critical discourse. He has presented in conferences for these subject areas in Malaysia and England.

Mr. Perez served as the local content coordinator for international media outlets, including CNN, NHK Japan, BBC Radio, and German National Television, during Project Ballet Futures—Ballet Manila’s internationally recognized arts and culture scholarship program. He is also an alumnus of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) Theodor Heuss Akademie in in 2007 and was the only Southeast Asian participant in the German Bureau of Education’s online workshop on sustainability-based game app development in 2021.
