Maraia M. Mananquil, also known as Raia, is a faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences at Wesleyan University-Philippines. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Santo Tomas and is currently pursuing her Master of Integrated Marketing Communication at Miriam College. With a keen interest in the relationship between film and society, she integrates media and cultural perspectives in her classes. Passionate in the academia, she envisions bridging the gap in communication education and practice, particularly in Central Luzon, by fostering innovative, socially relevant, and inclusive approaches.
