Professor Randy Jay C. Solis is currently a faculty member of the Department of Communication Research at the University of the Philippines Diliman, and currently serves as Chair of the College of Media and Communication Graduate Studies Department. He earned his doctorate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, School of Journalism and Communication.

His research interests include mediatization, mobile media, gender, children, migration, health and development communication. His works have been published in Journal of Children and Media, International Journal of Communication, Chinese Journal of Communication, Asian Journal of Communication, M/C Journal, and Plaridel. His extension works include strategic communication projects for international and government organizations like UNICEF, UNFPA, DOH, and DSWD.

Prof. Solis brings strong leadership, research expertise, and institutional experience.
